Fusion Splicing

For best performance of your fiber optic network, we perform core alignment fusion splicing for new cabling installation or repairs to your network.


Compared with field polished and mechanical connectors, fusion splicing has no reflectance and very low loss. This improves performance, reliability and the longevity of the optical transceiver and by extension, your network. Fusion Splicing is the best investment for your fiber optic infrastructure!


For electrical and telecom contractors, we offer to connectorize your cabling installation.


The work will be performed by a Certified Fiber Optic Splicing Specialist (CFOS/S) certified by The Fiber Optic Association Inc. (FOA).



Testing & Troubleshooting

We perform extended certification testing on multimode and single mode cables to meet TIA-568-C and ISO/IEC 11801 standards. They includes:


  • Live fiber identification to detect the optical signal without disconnecting fiber or disrupting network traffic.
  • Fiber connector end face inspection using an intelligent fiber microscope to provide a reliable and objective PASS/FAIL analysis of the fiber. This ensures that no contaminant or damage causes network failure.
  • Tier 1 Testing - Link insertion loss to measure the attenuation using an OLTS (Optical Loss Test Set).
  • Tier 2 Certification - OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometers) to pinpoint any junction and/or faults with very short dead zones for highest precision.
